OUR STORY
HT2 is an expanding community of professionals, entrepreneurs, managers, students, workers, researchers and citizens who want Italy to start again. We believe in the social capital of a synergetic ecosystem that uses data science and technological advancements to help the country reaching the sustainable goals and fostering data literacy.
HT2 was founded in Italy in 2021 as an action plan to recover from the Covid disruptions, to halt the growing brain-drain (“fuga di cervelli”), and to empower the Italian workforce in viable initiatives about digitization and sustainability where transparency, meritocracy and co-creation are the main pillars.
The visionary team behind HT2 (Paolo Alessandroni, Andrea Guida, Gianni Lodi, Marcello Enrico Ortona, Mauro Pastormerlo) combines a cross-disciplinary know-how in the top consulting firms, university teaching, entrepreneurship and worldwide collaborations to design this ecosystem, facilitate digital cooperation and attract talents.
The company behind HT2 is TakekoBlockchain SL (Barcelona, Milano) which focuses on data science and machine learning for Smart City, Art and "Humans" projects.
The name “Takeko” is a tribute to Nakano Takeko, a samurai woman and educator who led a squadron of female warriors to defend the Japanese region of Aizu. She embraces the martial arts’ core ethics of self-improvement, honor, courage and equilibrium with the greater world around one-self, combined with the feminine energy of ever-changing flow. These values are the template that guides the HT2 journey.
